Paradise Park is bordered by Hiddingh Avenue, Paradise Road and Bucksburn Road. This potentially beautiful area was neglected, overgrown, dirty and a sometime home to vagrants. A committee of residents focused on the overall upgrade of the park was formed in September 2011, and are known as Friends of Paradise Park (FOPP). FOPP liaises closely with Council about priority areas and fundraising events are organised to supplement Council funds and resources. It is hoped that more residents will make use of the park with it being more pleasant environment.
A lot of progress has been made in the park over the past few years and enthusiasm remains high amoungst volunteers as the improvements are so visible and appreciated by all.
